This is one of the most important days of your life. You will want
to look and feel your best.
Hairstyles
If you decide to change your hairstyle before your wedding, do it
about six months before. This will allow you time to grow it out or
straighten it out before the big day.
After you choose the style you want, go to your stylist and try it
out at least two months ahead of time. If you are happy with the way
the stylist did your hair, set up an appointment on your wedding
day. Make sure you leave yourself enough time to get your hair
washed, set and styled. Leave yourself plenty of time to relax!
Makeup
You may decide to do your own make-up on your wedding day or have a
professional do it. If you decide to do it on your own, do not
experiment on your wedding day. A few weeks before, go to the
cosmetic counter at the department store for a free make-up session.
Purchase the colors that look best on you and try them at home. Your
make-up should be a little heavier than usual for the photographs.
If you go to a professional cosmetologist, make sure you have a
session ahead of time. Be sure to feel comfortable with how you look
after the make-up is applied during the trial run because this is
how you'll look on your wedding day. You don't want to have any last
minute changes the day of your wedding. You want to still look like
yourself!
Nails
Pamper yourself and get a manicure! This can be relaxing. You want
your nails to look their best (especially for those close-up
photographs!). Consider a pedicure, its a nice way to sit back and
relax before the festivities begin.
Getting in Shape
The thought of squeezing into a pair of spandex shorts is enough to
drive anyone's motivation down! However, you have to remember that
this your big day. So, girls, it's time to get motivated!

If a parent gets remarried after a divorce or the death of their
spouse and they have children, they may decide to have a Family
Medallion Ceremony. After the couple exchanges wedding rings,
their children join them at the altar. The bride and groom then
place a medal around the neck of each child and pledge their
love to the children. This allows the children to feel special and
part of the new family.
The Family Medallion symbol includes three equally merged
circles: two circles represent the marriage union; the third
symbolizes the importance of children within the family.

I'm
trying to plan my menu for my reception, the problem I'm
having is that I have several guests who are very picky
eaters, a vegetarian and another guest who has food allergies.
It's frustrating because I can't please everyone. What should
I do? |
|
When it comes to planning your menu, you're right, you can't
please everyone. Your best bet is to choose one basic meat
entr and perhaps one plate without meat. Then let your
guests choose which dish he/she would prefer between the two.
Another option would be to have a buffet. Your guests will be
able to select from a variety of foods. Whatever you choose to
do, don't worry, your guests will understand that you can't
please everyone when it comes to dinner. |
