Bridal Headpieces

I am just head over heels in love with the latest bridal headpiece fashions. I’ve been on the tiara-fence for awhile now. We all may feel like a princess on our wedding day, but to wear a crystal-studded, 10” tiara seems a bit much (for me, at least). The new styles for 2010 have such an air of elegance and understatement that I can’t get enough.

The old fashioned birdcage headpiece has made a come back in oh-so-chic and fabulous styles. I scouted etsy.com for unique, fun and traditional styles. My eyes honed in a handful of artists over and over again:

Bridal Headbands: I was thrilled to see headbands making a comeback this past Fall for everyday wear; but when I saw these sparkling, glamorous pieces, I knew the union of tiara and headband had finally come! These beautiful pieces can be paired with a veil for a more traditional feel for the ceremony; then disarm the veil and join in on the fun at the reception. Such a modern piece – I wish they could be worn everyday. Perhaps I can have liberty to wear one at the office?! Afterall, it is everything weddings here. Below are some of my absolute favs:
